The Opportunity:

We are hiring English Science News Writers (for Biotech and Lifesciences) who are looking to be immersed in a fast-paced news environment, writing articles across multiple verticals and global markets.

Responsibilities:

• Writing and editing news stories in a timely fashion
• Craft compelling headlines and summaries that capture the attention of a busy audience
• Use sound reporting skills to research and deliver content from appropriate sources
• Create content using AP style and follow its guidelines whenever appropriate

Qualifications and Skills

• Excellent & versatile writing skills
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Familiarity or prior writing experience with WordPress CMS
• Ability to write for a variety of audiences
• Personal initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Displays a positive work ethic and can work under tight deadlines.
• Intense familiarity and interest in current news events.
