The Opportunity:
We are hiring English Science News Writers (for Biotech and Lifesciences) who are looking to be immersed in a fast-paced news environment, writing articles across multiple verticals and global markets.
Responsibilities:
- Writing and editing news stories in a timely fashion
- Craft compelling headlines and summaries that capture the attention of a busy audience
- Use sound reporting skills to research and deliver content from appropriate sources
- Create content using AP style and follow its guidelines whenever appropriate
Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent & versatile writing skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Familiarity or prior writing experience with WordPress CMS
- Ability to write for a variety of audiences
- Personal initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Displays a positive work ethic and can work under tight deadlines.
- Intense familiarity and interest in current news events.
